“Blaming God”
The world is saying that God is cruel for inflicting punishment on the flesh. The truth of the matter is that man, not God, is the cause of his suffering. To ensure that our love is real and trustworthy God gave us a choice at the beginning as He does now. He made two promises to us, eternal life to the obedient and eternal damnation to the disobedient. Eternal life begins immediately for the obedient and continues that way as long as we love the Lord. Eternal damnations also begins immediately for those that hate God. If you die in either state of mind then you live on that way forever.
We did not define love and hate. We are the creatures that the Lord made so how can we know more about life than Him? We know love through what the Lord has and is doing for us, whether we are right or wrong, like a baby growing to love his parents. We are friends of Jesus Christ if we do as He commands. Christ is love and to obey Him is to obey love. You become a servant to whom you obey and are what you do. If you obey love then you are love.
To turn from love is to hate. To refuse God and Christ is to turn to the devil. To all of you that refuse your Creator - Does your soul feel any love for Him? If you do not then that is because you have hatred inside. I love Jesus because He first loved me. My soul has a hunger for the love of God and His goodness, and He loves me right back. Such love will go on like this forever. Life’s sweetest embrace is loving and being loved by God. Jesus said, “At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.” He speaks to and teaches the children of God because we hear Him.
God issued the law because man had already shown his lust for evil and innocent people were being victimized. God’s law was not meant to show us how to die but to live. There was no hatred or harshness in it. God’s law was given in the spirit of mercy.
We were dying already having chosen the flesh over God. Through the law, He was showing the world that their condemnation and suffering would continue if they remained sinful. God’s prayer was that men would turn back to Him. The threat of punishment was a warning but man keeps choosing death anyway. He keeps choosing to defy the Lord because he does not want to humble himself. “A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come. But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, we will not have this man to reign over us.”
Seeing that the flesh will not obey, he is subject to punishments of his own doing. Should the flesh turn back to God then his troubles would end, even now. By disobeying God man opened the door to the suffering that he experiences now. Nobody forced him. Therefore his troubles are of his own doing, and he was forewarned.
The undeniable reality of life is that man dies. As much as he has tried to change this fate through his lust to be God the fact still remains. Additionally, man continues to suffer and has been able to change neither of these truths. Any kind of torment is hell but the world does not turn from it because of a vain hope that the life they are living will get better.
The world has this hope but there is a reality too. There is a dying presence in the pit of their souls and it will not go away. I know about the reality because it is or was present in all. Most choose to ignore it like a ringing in the ear or busy themselves with the affairs of their lives. The problem is that everybody has their down times which is when that feeling shows its continuing presence.
I have had people say that I was suffering from depression as if they were fine. But, I know better. God is not a respecter of persons. If I was experiencing the feeling then I know that they felt it too. They were simply lying about not feeling it. Your life will not get better if you stay in the world. Nevertheless, a few do tire of the ways of the world and seek something better.
God, because of man’s disobedience, must be hard on the flesh because he is hard on the spirit. God is hard through the flesh’s harshness against judgment and truth. The harder that the flesh fights against God then the harder he makes life for himself, dying ultimately.
Since the flesh prefers evil to good then he must be subdued in order to give the spirit a chance at life. The flesh is very selfish, wanting all of your God-given living to himself. To subdue the flesh is to obey God and is the reason why Jesus Christ is hated so much. Jesus obeyed and showed us how to obey God. Obedience to God binds the flesh which the world hates because they want the freedom to do as they please. They want God to continue blessing them while they continue hating Him.
To a certain degree the Lord does give the carnal man some freedom. However we are to obey God when and as He commands. Armageddon rages within the children of God now. The war is the battle of wills between the flesh and the spirit. Jesus won and now we know how to win. When a man obeys then his spiritual soul has peace. His carnal soul does not obey but the spirit does. The carnal soul never has peace because he cannot be satisfied. The spiritual soul is satisfied by the grace of God. This is why the two souls are enmities to each other. The flesh hates the spirit but the latter will love the former.
The battle rages within when the flesh works to control. The control is simply getting your mind to hear and obey him instead of the spirit. The spirit does not enjoy what the flesh wants, and vice-versa.
We are weak without Jesus Christ but strong with Him. Until Jesus, we (as spiritual beings) had no defense against the carnal mind. Our defense and offense is the Word of God now. The Truth dominates against the liar. Everything that was prophesized and prayed by Jesus has come to pass. Even killing Jesus did not stop the Truth but instead helped its fulfillment. The devil did not want Jesus to come because He was to give us power. Now through love, truth, and goodness we torment the devils. We do so out of love, not hatred. Our power is the love of God before which the world cannot stand.
God has to be hard on the flesh so that life can continue. The Lord through the disobedience of the flesh makes him work and suffer to live so that true life can have a chance. God still gives the flesh a portion of living until he dies even though he continues to hate Him. A stark reality is that we need hatred to appreciate love. Before, we did not appreciate what the Lord did for us. Now we have to work to live so that we can appreciate what the Lord does for us and love Him in return.
Here is the problem with mastering the flesh - His punishment is imposed by commandment and enforced by violence. God simply wanted the flesh subdued. He does not enjoy the sufferings of man but does hate wickedness. Even though man suffers he does not turn from his disobedient ways. He could but does not. He could live again in the heavenly bliss of God, right now. So tell me - Who is being unfair?
The enforcers of the law came to love inflicting punishment on the accused. They made a religion of it. They were damning and condemning others while being at fault for the same wrongs, too. “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”“Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” The only one that can declare our Lord’s name is the Holy Ghost through the Word preached.
The enforcers of the law thought that they were superior to others and immune to prosecution. They thought their flesh was keeping the law and that they were better than others. No flesh keeps the law because he is weak. If the flesh were strong then he would not die. The truth is they violate the same laws that they impose, making their judgments unjust and their lives a lie.
With the two promises God puts in place the making of our two souls with one reigning over the other. The making of the souls depended on a man’s choice. If he had chosen God despite the flesh then he would have lived forever. The spiritual soul would have been nourished, increased, and multiplied. The carnal soul would have been subdued.
If a man chose otherwise then the flesh would reign over the spirit. Now, such a choice would be born under the curse of death. Ultimately man’s flesh and spirit would both die leaving only the carnal soul which, having chosen himself over God, then leaves him in his most wretched state forever. The natural life of the carnal soul is actually the time being given to a man in which he can repent and return to God.
The expression ‘self-made man’ actually has a greater meaning than the world realizes. A man does choose the type of existence that he will have. The short-sighted view is where one looks exclusively to the flesh. But, to truly gain the deeper appreciation of life we must look at both the carnal and spiritual lives.
Man cursed his life in the worst way when he chose to defy God. The flesh could reverse the error of his ways (even now) but not without great tribulation and suffering. And, he is unwilling to try. Man would suffer greatly (much more than he does now) because the devil would unleash much evil upon the flesh to discourage him. The devil does the tormenting and has man hating God for it; the most masterful deception and I do not say so in admiration. Should mankind try to return to God then the devil would fight against him intensely and openly. There would be no reason to hide in the shadows anymore.
The world wants to skirt around the issue that they are to blame for their sufferings. They want to blame God who is the very reason that they exist. This behavior is of a long time by people who do not want to take accountability for their actions. Once again God gave us a choice, Heaven or hell. By now, it should be very apparent that hell is for the sinners and Heaven is for the saints.
The world wants to live in sin and then go to Heaven or so they think. I have taught before that the Word of God is Heaven to the obedient and hell to the rest. Therefore, do they really want to go to Heaven which they are avoiding like the plague now? Anyway the world was in heaven before and would not keep it, nor will they now.
The world does not really want to go to Heaven. They want rest and peace in the world that they live in. But, there is none because the world is hell. I have known people who were angry that they were catching hell in the world. They did not want to come out of the world but were mad to be suffering in the world. The world is just plain suffering. If you want peace then you must come out of the minds of the world. However, they are determined to find another way than God.
To keep you in the world they make more promises that things will get better for the flesh. When the obvious is before them then they make another lie by saying when they leave this life a better place awaits them. I ask, ‘What better place?’
Here again is where they try to steal from God. The Lord has promised a better place for His saints now and in the world to come. The better place is being in God. Not to be outdone, the world claims the same for their followers. The problem for the world is the God is telling the Truth but they are telling lies. Somebody is right and somebody is wrong.
To blame God for the world’s troubles is the most ignorant state of mind ever, the most wretched of souls. The world is in a bad place and is trying hard to ignore the obvious that death is before and in them. Home is where the heart is. If your heart loves sin then there is where you live in this life and the hereafter.
The flip side of the carnal coin is this - The flesh will not return because he wants to be God. God has been good to man all of his days and the flesh wants the relationship to remain this way. Man wants God to be in service to him. God is in service to man but not in the manner that he prefers. God loves man but will not humble Himself to him, ever.
Some will argue, ‘Did not God specifically say that He would do this and that because of man’s sins?’ The answer is, ‘Yes’, as His Word commands but the trouble was actually brought about because of man’s actions. Answer me this about the troubles that you are having, ‘Did you specifically hear God say that He would bring them on you?’ He does not have to say it directly but they come upon you anyway.
God loves man but at the same time the world means nothing to Him. The world is less than life, adding no true value to it, and is disrespectful. They are thieves and robbers who take credit for the good that they do not nor cannot give. Regardless, God loves man by giving him life. If the Lord did not then mankind would die immediately. If that were to happen then the remnant would be cut off. I have taught before that life is forever and God wills it so because of His remnant.
The beauty of life is in giving. God is a giver and wants us to give of ourselves. I mean more than simply giving of your substance but of your soul. Few are willing to do so. Honesty and truth are required which is something that the flesh is not willing to give. Half-truths do not count. God gives us of His Soul and requires the same of man. Man wants only to receive. What he does give means little to him. God wants the part of us that hurts to give. How do you think He felt by giving up His only Son? When it hurts then it is real. To deny yourself for God makes your love true. You endure the temptation of the flesh for the spirit. We are nothing without God’s grace of love and sacrifice.
Here is something very deep for you - Man created the devil. Of all his God-given abilities this is what he managed to do. Remember that God gave man much power over almost all that he had created. Yes - the Holy Bible teaches that God created all things and brought forgiveness to the world through Jesus Christ? Jesus established the spiritual man within Himself which was the job that God had given us to do at the beginning. One man made our condemnation possible and a truer man made our salvation possible. God gave us the ability to create too.
We are either instruments of God or the devil and both use man for their purposes. From the start, the flesh showed that he wanted to be free from God. Our job is to subdue the earth as the Lord commanded. You think He was talking about the planet? If so, have we come even close to subduing it? If anything the planet is subduing us. According to the flesh, we come from and return to the earth so I do not know who is having mastery over whom. You be the judge because the earth that He spoke of is the flesh.
When God made the Creation He put everything in place for our lives whether we obeyed Him or not. The choice of whether or not to serve Him was left to man. Without a choice God knows that our love would not be true. When we love Him of our own accord then He knows it is real. Is not that true for anybody?
The serpent is the flesh because his will is for us to obey him instead of God. As long as we obey God then the flesh is subdued and rendered harmless. When man chose to hear and obey the flesh then he gave life to a mind other than the one that God had given him. That spirit was released into the world of our minds and caused trouble wherever he pleased.
When a man and woman come together he gives of his life to her and their offspring is released into the world. I have taught before about our two lives. What is done of the spirit is done also of the flesh. The greater life is that of the spirit so it is more important to live through him than the flesh.
There is fornication of the flesh and there is the same for the spirit also. Therefore, it is very important that we join ourselves to the right Spirit which is Jesus Christ. Like a man is joined to a woman and become one flesh take care that you join yourself to the right spirit for the good of your life.
What happened with Adam had a much greater impact than the world knows. You see, others who had not transgressed after the similitude of Adam’s transgression were affected also. The effect is similar to that of a virus being spread. Adam’s turn to weakness then affected the world on the whole and made us all vulnerable to the same weak and beggarly elements of the flesh. The Creation knew no trouble until man had sinned.
Man has the ability to create spirits through his mind and actions. The spirit that was created was from a mind of disobedience and evil, defying God directly. That spirit was the offspring of man. To keep a man from God and to himself the flesh has to continually seduce him with minds, thoughts, and spirits that are contrary to our and God’s soul. He has to in order to keep your mind on the outside of the sanctuary and with him. These are the children of the devil.
When man chose to defy God initially he gave life to the evil spirit and created the devil. How then did God create the devil? He created him through man. God told the man what would happen if he disobeyed and that he would surely die. When he took on the sinful mind he died immediately from God. The burial was just a formality. After the disobedience, the Lord then described how man’s suffering would be. The suffering was in place already and simply had to be empowered. Man gave the empowerment. The more that sin is committed then the greater the decay of mankind. Man would never have known this if he had stayed in God.
Here is the difference between the mind of the spirit and that of the flesh. The flesh is short-sighted and has a selfish point of view which blinds him to the truth of life. In the spirit we can see deeply, like God. You will not find these truths in any book. You will only find them in God.
God gave Adam power over all life on and in earth. Adam was greater than the other men because he was God’s firstborn. God had chosen him, like He chose Mary to bare Jesus. Like any great father and son relationship the Father puts all that He has in the possession of His son. The dutiful son would see to it that the kingdom was well cared for according to his Father’s pleasure.
However, Adam strayed from that straight and narrow way. We know that Eve was the weaker vessel having sinned first but the burden fell upon Adam because he was in charge and did not correct the problem in the way of his Father. Instead he turned to Eve’s way over the Father’s; which is to say, the flesh over the Spirit. You should see that the state of the world is due to the failings of man. God gave him great power and responsibility but he still forsakes it for the flesh.
Adam (in the spirit of disobedience) tried to blame God for the trouble by saying, ‘The woman that you gave me, she gave me to eat and I did eat.’ But, the Lord would not tolerate it. When a soul considers good or evil and acts on it, either immediately or over time, then he gives birth to that spirit. The spirit goes out into the world seeking other souls to rest in. If the spirit finds no rest then he returns to his consenting host. If the spirit is evil then that soul is tormented by the same. Most of the world are unaware of this fact but it is the truth nonetheless.
“When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.” (Matthew 12: 43 - 45).
When a soul acts on a good mind then that spirit is conceived and given life, and goes out into the world seeking souls to rest in. If the spirit finds another to rest in then that soul is blessed as well as the conceiver. If not received then that good spirit returns to his home and blesses further the soul that sent him.
These good and evil spirits are made and sent out into the world all the time. The difference is that nobody wants the evil spirit, not even the hater. But, everybody wants the good spirit. Now the world cannot keep the good spirit because evil begets evil and good begets good. Evil seeks to kill the good and the good seeks to love. If the people would return to God then they would be protected from the wiles of Satan.
Evil spirits go out into the world and seek the living to seduce into hearing and obeying them. When the living obeys the evil then they give shelter to those spirits with their own lives. When souls do this then they lose a portion of their lives. This kind of existence hastens their deaths.
Evil spirits and minds are of death and dying. God told man what would happen if he disobeyed. Man gave life to those minds. God is love to one extreme and man is vanity to the opposite. We as children of God in this life have yet to see the great depths of His goodness. In contrast, if we died in sin then we will experience the absolute horror of corruption.
Those having tasted the Holy Ghost have an idea of what hell can be like. Having tasted of God’s goodness we can gain some idea of what the opposite is like. Most, if not all, of God’s children do not even want to think about it. The world wants to live as if they will have the flesh forever to continue lying, hating, evil, murdering, whoring, inflicting harm, defying God, and I could go on. They even try to pretend to accept their inevitable fates by believing something better awaits them in the hereafter. To even allow themselves to think this way is to believe that God is not real.
People who have had near-death experiences think that they can explain what they saw, heard, and felt. I speak in terms of those who say they saw relatives and friends in heaven. They did not because the experience is not like that.
“Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.” (Matthew 22: 29 - 30).
When a person expires then there is afterwards a resurrection of the soul from the dead flesh to either eternal life or damnation. In this life the flesh does not know or see the spirit and in the next life the spirit will know nothing of the flesh. You cannot take the flesh with you. Jesus is teaching that, in the resurrection, our existence will be of His Spirit (Body) and we will be all the same; knowing, seeing, and understanding like the Father. As angels there will be no existence of one another according to our natural lives.
They try to explain their near-death experiences according to the flesh because they know no other way and cannot relate to it otherwise. The reason they cannot relate to the experience because the flesh cannot explain or comprehend what goes on with the spirit. The two are perfectly opposite.
“It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord. I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.” (2 Corinthians 12: 1 - 4).
The Apostle Paul related to his ‘in and out of the body’ experience quite well when he said that he could not explain it. He knew that it was not lawful for a man to utter because the flesh, which is the basis of the law, cannot give an account of what you see by the Spirit. You can see a thing in the Spirit but neither can explain or describe it to anyone, at least not as it was given. You struggle with an explanation and if not careful will ‘add’ to it for credibility. The Lord does that sometimes. He will show or give you a teaching that is for you exclusively. For Paul, that was the case and the Lord would not remove it. He continually came to visions and revelations but could not explain them to anyone.
I have had ‘visitations’ from saints who have gone on to their glory. But, I know it was not their persons but the Spirit of God that they are of now which appeared. In Heaven there are no persons but only the Body of Christ because we are all as angels. When Moses asked God what was His name then He responded, ‘I AM.’
In this life there will be times when you find yourself seeing, understanding, and feeling the Spirit of God so clearly. But, you cannot ‘stay there’ even though you want to. The experience fades or runs out like water in your hands. This happens because the presence of the Spirit of God is death to the flesh. Therefore the flesh will work hard to diminish the experience.
You try to recapture the moment but cannot. You simply cannot remain at that spiritual level. God will minimize the occasion also because He knows the affect that He has on the flesh. He simply is allowing us to taste what is to come. We do not command God’s Spirit. He commands us. Paul said that he will ‘come’ to visions and revelations.
“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” (Romans 8: 18).
This verse should help you appreciate the extreme difference between Heaven and hell. If nothing else, suffering gets our attention. That being said, compared to the glory of God, suffering is nothing and does not even exist in the true scope of life. Anybody who has felt the joy of the Spirit of God knows what I am talking about. When in His Spirit you do not know, see, or feel anything about the flesh; neither do you care to. Your body can be wracked with pain beyond the capabilities of medicine and then the Holy Ghost comes and blesses you. For the time, all you know is that the joy of God’s Spirit is greater than your suffering. Now, that is power. And, all you want is to remain in God’s Spirit because He is so good.
People in the world think they are managing their lives. Not having tasted of God’s Spirit they cannot see that they are in hell even now. They are in hell because God is now. When you see Jesus in the Spirit then you know the truth of life and that there is no more pretending.
Like the Father turning the kingdom over to Adam He did to Jesus also. Jesus would not make the same mistake as Adam. If anything He saw what happened to Adam and life. God is satisfied when he has a Son that obeys. Evil tried Jesus but He would not fall victim to Adam’s temptations. Jesus created good spirits instead of evil ones. He made good spirits out of us.
These things go on in our lives all the time yet the world fails to see it because they are blind. In fact they do not want to see these things or the truth. As long as they resist the truth then they think that they are saved by their lies. God gave us a very serious job to do with grave or glorious consequences. The devil says that there is another way to life than God’s. The flesh invents lies all the time. We cannot allow ourselves to listen. What happened to Adam and the realities of life should be proof enough for all to believe.
In avoiding the Truth man created death through God’s Word. He did not know it at the time but certainly saw it when he sinned. Otherwise, why did he try to hide from Him? He sought the easy way out as the world does now. There is no easy way out. There is only God’s way to life or death. Know this - You are going to die as promised by God to the disobedient. Who are the disobedient? The flesh and his followers (the devil and his angels) are the disobedient. If you do not follow the flesh then he only dies and you live on in the Lord. All of this happens through man’s ability to create.
The world blames God for their sufferings and troubles. This behavior is typical of the devil. Children of God accept responsibility for their actions while the devil does not. The world wants freedom and independence which God gave them from the beginning. They discovered that their image of life is a lie and are angry about it.
How ugly is the world for saying that God is the cause of their troubles when they are the ones at fault. They want to be God so badly that they will believe any lie telling them so. Instead, they hate bitterly the greatest good that there is. Some are so bad that even when the Lord blesses they still hate Him.
God gave man great power over almost all that He had made but he wants it all to himself. Man can have that power with God but not without Him. God did put him in power over the elements but he rejects it for evil. Man can control the universe but not by himself.
Man wants to be in control but as God. Jesus Christ was never so foolish. He told Peter about the fish with the money in its mouth, calmed the raging sea, walked on the water, and did many other wondrous works. Jesus knew the power that He had. He also knew it was God’s power. As long as He stayed in God the power was at hand. Jesus did not get high-minded but humbled Himself before the Father.
I have had bad minds simply burned away by the Spirit of God without even asking for it. I cannot see how anyone can hate such a good God. As I have said before, ‘Why do they not blame God for their good times, too?’ They go to the trouble of blaming Him for their bad times but not the good. When the times are good they are not giving the Lord the glory. Is that right or even fair?
The truth of the matter is this - Anybody blaming God for their troubles is a liar and a thief; in other words, they are the devil in the flesh. They want God to change but He will not, thank goodness. They want Him to be a liar but He is not. The world wants the Almighty to bow to them but He does not.
The Lord showed us what is good and evil from the very beginning. As man was then so is he now. Man wants God to be a worse soul than himself. They want God to let evil into Heaven. Man (not God) did this before and it will never happen again. Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. Man lets trouble into the world. He could stop it but will not. Consequently, he suffers for it and prays to God for help.
When the time was at hand for the world to swear off evil God sent Jesus to restore all things as before, expecting that man would obey Him. Man did not then and does not now. Jesus Christ re-established Heaven in earth with the expectation that the world would refuse evil and return to good. Man did the same thing as before, sealing the curse that the flesh and his followers are damned forever.
Rather than rise to the God-given stature of men, women, and children the world sits back and blames Him for their troubles. They suffer because they will not come out of the world which is hell as intended. Therefore, the suffering remains of their own doing. God is not changing. Good will be good and evil will be evil. “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.”
If you want love then you will come out of the world; otherwise you will stay where you are and continue dying. And, the world will continue to blame someone else. They do so because they do not want to see themselves for who they are. Seeing yourself in truth can be quite traumatic yet is the commandment that every decent man and woman will heed.
The world does not want to see themselves in truth. They will either fight or flee from you to deny it. “Why do ye not understand my speech? Even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do.” Great ugliness prevails in the world and people want to see themselves or be spoken of in a good way. This is how the devil is cultivated and hides in a soul. If you expose him then he reacts often with venomous bitterness.
Now, even though the people are that way God is still extremely merciful. There are times when people see themselves in the belly of hell and know why. And, they will pray earnestly to God who will hear them. This is their moment of truth (literally) because for that time they have left the world behind.
In your sufferings the flesh begs you to entreat the Lord on his behalf but now you can see the liar that he is. Once God hears your prayer the flesh wants to immediately return to the way things were which is how you got in trouble in the first place. But, remember, that was your opportunity. Most of the time it will not happen again because if you return to the world then you would have shown God your preference for the flesh and not Him.
“What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that showeth mercy. For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might show my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth. Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? What if God, willing to show his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?” (Romans 9: 14 - 24).
Did you make God or did He make you? Are you calling Him to righteousness or is He calling you? Every soul born into the world is clean of the spirit. The flesh is not, having the sins of his fathers passed onto him. The cleanness of spirit does not stay that way because the world is going to make sure you are dirtied. In the world God did not make you the way you are; you did. You are righteous if you obey righteousness. You are sinful if you follow the flesh. The righteous are blessed in their lives and the unrighteous are not.
One thing that will never happen is God humbling before man. The more things change, the more they remain the same. The flesh and the devil want God to be good to them while they hate Him. They are under a curse of their own doing because they are in the world. Should they return to God then their curse would end but they will not return. Yet, they blame God for their troubles. We drive on the right side of the road because that way we are less prone to accidents. The world insists on driving on the wrong side of the road and gets mad when an accident occurs.
God, in His Word, addresses every evil mind that a man can have to make a way for him to escape out of them. Look at the effort that the Lord made to help save a soul from sin. Look at His patience with the world. Is this a God that wants to destroy or save His people? When we did not know He showed us what is good and evil. Who loves us and who does not? If God can give us good things for our lives then does not it show that He only wants the best for us? Who are you listening to? Why can’t you see? Take off those blinders!
People who have mental breakdowns could have avoided them. Everybody has a choice. Choosing who to listen to is the key. Why do you think some come out of those minds? They choose to. Seeing the effects of listening to those minds they realize that they do not want what those devils are offering.
People blame God because they are wicked. You get evil from the disobedient, not the good. The good are satisfied with the Lord. The evil seek out others to agree with them in hopes of feeling better about themselves, to no avail. The devil is no good so it is not surprising that this is going on. The devil will use anything that works to keep you from God and with him. Again, hell is about stealing your life and getting you to consent to it even though you are suffering. You help the devil’s cause when you try to make life easy for the flesh. Dying is easy; it is living that is hard. It is not hard all the time but then there are times. Man made life the way that it is. He made his bed so he has to sleep in it. God gave us life easy at the beginning but we did not appreciate Him or His great gift. Now we must work for what we want, good or bad. The easy part comes later. Anybody that blames God for their troubles does not love the Truth.
With all of this being said, the flesh still blames God for his troubles. When Jesus cried, “My God, my God, Why has thou forsaken me?”, that was His flesh praying. All flesh blames God for their suffering. The flesh has no desire to be responsible for his actions. His actions brings about his suffering yet he blames an innocent for it. The flesh wants God to love and treat him well while they continue to hate Him. Jesus’ flesh did not go to Heaven. Do not be a fool. Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God.
The truth of the matter is that the flesh is angry because God’s Word is real. The flesh forsook God. If he would return to God (but he will not) then He will return to him. On the whole God imposes His Will through the actions of men whether they are good or evil. If man would obey then there would be no evil in the world. The world is in the turmoil that man created.
When God pronounced destruction to the disobedient then it happens because the world turns away from the true blessing of life. God only is the blessing of life and anything else takes you away from Him. Disobeying God brings destruction to oneself. God does not have to do anything. You bring it upon yourself. If you wade into water over your head knowing that you cannot swim then you are going to drown.
People know that they are wrong but try to say God is wrong instead. When they find themselves cursed then they want to be angry with God for their troubles. Many have asked, ‘Why do they have to die?’, even though they do not want God. If you turn from life then it is death. The two ways in life are right and wrong. God warned us at the beginning because He knew what would happen. You cannot be evil and go to Heaven. You cannot be righteous and go to hell.
God knows His value because He is life. If you turn to Him then He is going to bless you beyond measure in this life and the one to come. Here is a counter-point - Why doesn’t the world blame God for their good times too? Who are they crediting for their good days, themselves? If they have the power to bless themselves then why don’t they stop their troubles altogether? If they have the presence of mind to blame God for their troubles then why don’t they see who it is that blesses them? Who do they bless when they get out of their troubles?
God is so good. Even if you do not want Him then still He wants you to enjoy as much as possible the days that you do have in this life. The reason that He does is because eternity has no end. He knows what your future holds. You will not like it but neither will you return to God so there is little that He can do for you. Good or bad, you make your life what it is. The choice and power is yours to be good or evil. Mind you - Everybody in hell is not evil. There are simply lost souls who would not turn to God while they lived.
Life is real. Make the best of it or not. God does not change. He did not change for Jesus’ flesh and He will not change for yours.
